Welcome to KAT Theatre
We are a community theatre society based in north Wellington, with a wonderful community of members and supporters from across the Greater Wellington Region.
At KAT Theatre, we’re an “all hands on deck” kind of organisation, and we pride ourselves on our breadth of work.
Every year, our members are given the opportunity to engage in all aspects of theatre-making: from scriptwriting, directing, designing, performing, or publicising, to creating sets, costumes and lighting effects. Everyone is welcome to get involved, whether you’re on stage, or behind it.
Our annual programme caters to people of all ages, with a wide range of workshops, activities and full-scale productions for children, young people and mature audiences.
