WHAT WE DO
Our annual programme consists of four main-bill productions, several members’ gatherings and occasional workshops. While most of our productions require mainly teen or adult performers, every now and then we stage one that involves young actors as well.
Main-bill productions
A play for young audiences in February, staged in Khandallah Park.
A short season of short plays in April/May.
Two full length plays, one in July and one in October.
Members’ gatherings
Three get-togethers each year: one in March which features the AGM and one or two rehearsed play readings; one in the middle of the year which often feature all-comers’ poetry readings; and one at the end of the year which features light-hearted theatre-themed activities for all.
Working bees to maintain and organise our assets (costumes, technical gear, set creation materials, stage props and furniture).
Workshops and guest speakers
We organise these on an as-requested basis.
Our activities allow members to tap into their creativity and try their hand at the many different aspects of theatre-making. To find out more, fill out the form on our contact page and we’ll get in touch.
